Cloud Network Engineer & Infrastructure Specialist
I am a Cloud Network Engineer with over 10 years of experience designing, deploying, and securing hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft Azure. My work spans automation, governance, identity, networking, and cybersecurity.
My career began in 2007 as a network administrator, working in budget-constrained environments where wearing many hats and getting things right the first time wasn't optional. That foundation shaped how I approach every infrastructure problem: understand every layer, secure from day one, automate everything repeatable.
Most recently I supported Alcoholics Anonymous through cloud transitions in mission-critical, high-trust environments where uptime and data security are non-negotiable. I help businesses scale securely and cost-effectively using Infrastructure-as-Code, Zero Trust principles, and advanced monitoring strategies.
I am currently building reusable cloud onboarding frameworks for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), helping them adopt secure cloud practices in fast-paced environments. I also actively follow the emergence of agentic AI and Copilot integration in cloud operations.
Technical domains I work in across cloud, security, and automation.
Azure infrastructure & security including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, VMs, App Services, and storage architecture.
VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Private Link, and Azure Firewall connect on-premises and cloud environments seamlessly.
Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions, and ARM Templates provide repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure at any scale.
Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and MFA provide identity-first security across Microsoft 365 and Azure workloads.
PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Logic Apps eliminate manual toil and build reliable operational workflows.
Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Purview support policy-as-code frameworks that enforce standards without slowing teams down.
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel provide detection, alerting, and automated incident response pipelines.
Azure OpenAI, M365 Copilot, Security Copilot, and Cost Advisor bring AI into day-to-day cloud operations.
GitHub Advanced Security and Defender for DevOps shift security left into the development pipeline.
